As part of our mission to help people get the most of out of their lives, CHC supports a number of local community organizations and our employees are actively engaged in our community through serving others and promoting healthy lifestyles. This includes support of inner-city education with scholarships for students through St. Patrick’s High School in Chicago and the Big Shoulders Project which provides support to the Catholic schools in the neediest areas of inner-city Chicago.
Our organization also supports the work of “Doc’s Angels,” founded by Dr. Patrick Angelo, the CHC founder. “Doc’s Angels,” supports and encourages homeless men and women living on Lower Wacker Drive in Chicago by providing blankets, mittens, hats, socks, and meals to more than 80 people per year. See the links below to learn more about the work of “Doc’s Angels.”
We are very proud of the work we do in our community and grateful for the support the CHC clients give us that allow us to help people get the most out of their lives.
